Our Mission

The DIA’s mission is to keep member companies up to date with the latest information in our fast changing industry, and provide a forum for information dissemination to help each member grow their business in a planned and profitable manner.


How does the DIA achieve its Mission?

By providing professional speakers and experts in their fields to address topics which have been suggested by the membership.


What is the History of the DIA?

The DIA was formed in 1988 as the Ontario PrePress Association, to help the member companies deal with the international issue of North American Free Trade.The Association has grown to 75+ member companies, and now focuses on technology and management within the Digital Imaging arena.


What is the health of the organization?

DIA is a not-for-profit organization that has a bank surplus. The last three year’s regular meetings averaged 100+ attendees. The people who attend the meetings are decision makers. Topics for some of the meetings in the past three years have included: JDF/CIP4; Digital Asset Management & Variable Data; Content Management and, How to grow your business through diversification.
